Are you suffering with grief and loss?
Are you struggling to keep it together or with your identity as a parent?

Is this season of parenthood not what you envisioned?
Are the people around you concerned about your adjustment?
Do you find yourself worrying that something bad will happen to you or your baby?

If any of these questions resonate with you, then you are in the right place.
I applaud your bravery in taking the first step to seek help, because so many mothers before you have suffered in silence.
You are not alone.

Society tells us that this will be the happiest time of our lives, but what happens when it’s not?  Many women will experience complications during the childbearing years which can include; infertility, pregnancy or infant loss, medical challenges, birth trauma and postpartum struggles.  The truth is that 50-80% of women experience the baby blues and 1 out of 5 experience some sort of mood disturbance in the perinatal period (before or after pregnancy).  The transition to motherhood is challenging and often requires significant adjustments and support.

Pregnancy and Postpartum can be a new and confusing time. Many times, serious complications requiring professional intervention can be brushed off as “hormones” or “baby blues”. Noticing the following symptoms in yourself,  your partner, or someone you love can potentially save lives.
