About Me

My name is Dr. Danielle and I am a dual licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60447408) and Marriage and Family Therapist (LF60294866) in Washington. I have a PhD in Counseling from Oregon State University. *Pending licenses in Oregon and Arizona*

My approach to counseling is supportive, collaborative, holistic, and client centered. As a psychotherapist, I primarily utilize Humanistic, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Attachment-based and Trauma-informed modalities, Narrative, and Client Centered perspectives.

I provide a safe, mindful, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for clients to build connection, facilitate change, healing, and acceptance. I strive to cultivate a collaborative relationship with my clients throughout the therapeutic process to be most effective and helpful in reaching your goals.

These approaches are based on the belief that our thoughts, emotions, and actions relate to our mind and body. I have found that integrating therapeutic techniques offers the client a holistic way of exploring, understanding, and ultimately altering or coping with discomfort.

I view my therapeutic approach as an equal partnership with my clients. By working together, clients can discover deeper understanding in life and find their healthy and authentic self. I will support your goals and aspirations, while holding space for you to trust your own instincts and knowledge. I will work to amplify your successes, assist you in further developing your skills, increasing your awareness and self-confidence. This work enables potential for future change and inner peace. I work to understand your perspective through non-judgmental and empathetic listening. I want to hear your experiences and thoughts to identify what might be driving you to think and act in ways that do not support your goals, your growth, or your health. I look forward to walking with you on your journey.
